What
ElevenLabs is a voice synthesis and conversational-agent API. It was spiked as the audio layer for myna, our voice agent.
Why this ring
It's not yet proven in production - we're validating it on a real project before deciding whether to standardise. We're also keeping core logic and tests independent of it to avoid vendor lock-in.
What does this mean
Fine to build on for myna's experimental work where the risk is manageable. It's not yet a default for anything else, and we shouldn't take hard production dependencies on it until it's proven.
