React is a JavaScript/TypeScript library for building component-based web UIs. It's Doccla's default for web frontend work, used across the frontend estate including clinician-portal.
Why this ring
It's our established standard for the web: a large shared component ecosystem, the same model we use on mobile via React Native, and a skillset the whole frontend team shares.
What does this mean
New web frontend work should be built in React unless there is a strong reason otherwise.
