Bruno is an open-source API client for building and testing HTTP requests. Collections are stored as plain files versioned in git, giving a git-native workflow. At Doccla it replaces Postman.
Why this ring
We prefer open-source tooling where a capable alternative exists, and Bruno's file-based, git-native collections are a cleaner fit for our workflow than Postman's account-bound model.
What does this mean
Use Bruno for API testing. Keep collections versioned in git, alongside the code or service they relate to.
